Product Description
This is probably the only place in where you could read a wine label and know what kind of wine is in the bottle. The tiny village of Chardonnay is one of 26 allowed to append its name to the appellation. It’s also believed that this is where the grape originated and how it got its name.
The wine produced in this tiny village of less than 200 inhabitants is made with pride, and is considered a step up from the basic regional wine. There’s little to no oak aging used, so expect the wine to have crisp acidic balance along with aromas and flavors of melon, lemon, crisp apple and pear.
The high acidity makes the wine picture perfect for food pairing. Seafood seasoned with lemon or lime, roasted chicken and sushi are classic pairings. There’s no need to age this wine, so drink it while it’s young and vibrant.
